Dato’ Sri Ghazali Mohd Ali, 68, graduated from the Western Australia Institute of Technology, Perth in Town and Regional Planning. Dato’ Sri also fellow of the Malaysian Institute of Planners. Dato’ Sri is an Non-Independent Executive Director at Boustead Holdings Berhad since March 2007. Prior to joining Boustead Holdings Berhad, Dato’ Sri held several positions in property industry for more than 30 years. He also has served as Managing Director of Syarikat Perumahan Pegawai Kerajaan Sdn Bhd, Property Director of Island & Peninsular Berhad as well as the Deputy Director General of The Urban Development Authority of Malaysia. Dato’ Sri Ghazali joined as a Chairman of IIUM Properties Sdn Bhd since November 2013.
YBhg. Assoc Prof Dr Rustam Khairi bin Zahari

Dr. Rustam Khairi Zahari, 52, is an Assistant Professor with the Department of Urban and Regional Planning at the Kulliyyah of Architecture and Environmental Design (KAED), the International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM). Dr. Rustam graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (City and Regional Planning) from the University of Southwestern Louisiana, USA; followed by a Master of Urban and Regional Planning from Fresno State University, California, USA and later completed his doctoral studies from the University of Nottingham, UK. Besides lecturing in KAED, Dr. Rustam was also given the opportunity to further contribute his service with his appointment as Resource Centre Coordinator, Academic Advisor, and Head for the Department of Urban and Regional Planning.
Dr. Rustam is currently serving as the Director of the Development Division since July 2014. The division is responsible in the planning and implementation of the university’s various physical undertakings. These include university’s projects in Gombak and Petaling Jaya (Selangor), Kuantan, Gambang and Penor (Pahang) in addition to Pagoh (Johor) campuses involving conventional and Private Funding Initiative projects under the 10th and 11th Malaysia Plans (RMK). Dr Rustam joined as a Director of IIUM Properties Sdn Bhd since September 2017.
YBhg. Prof Sr Dr Khairuddin Abdul Rashid
Sr. Dr. Khairuddin Abdul Rashid is Professor in Quantity Surveying and Head, Procurement and Project Delivery System Research Unit, International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM). He worked as quantity surveyor, initially in London and, in Malaysia for 18 years and taught at a University in the UK for 3 years prior to joining IIUM in 2000. At IIUM he established the Department of Quantity Surveying, the Bachelor of Quantity Surveying and MBA in Construction Business programmes.
Professor Khairuddin is Co-founder and Co-editor of the Journal of Quantity Surveying and Construction Business, founder and former Editor-in-chief of the Journal of Architecture, Planning and Construction Management, Co-founder and Co-Chair of the International Multi-national Joint Venture for Construction Works Conference series. He has authored, co-authored, edited and co-edited 13 books and more than 180 technical papers and presentations on quantity surveying, procurement, shari'ah compliant contract and PPP/PFI.
